[PROFILE][BIOGRAPHY]

I was diagnosed with ADHD before I even knew what it meant.

For as long as I can remember, my brain worked differently. I had this specific, odd way of thinking, organizing the things I saw and connecting concepts that didn’t seem related to anyone else. I overthought everything, deeply, in ways my peers didn’t seem to. And as I got older, other mental health challenges showed up too, ones that affected my schoolwork, my lifestyle, and the way I moved through the world.

That curiosity led me to overthinking things and wanting to take a real step in learning more about myself. Researching and taking a deep dive into figuring out the root causes behind mental and neurodivergent disorders actually made me feel better about myself. Understanding the “why” behind the way I thought and felt turned something I used to hide into something I could finally make sense of. The more I explored, the more I realized that people my age, myself included, were being left behind when it came to understanding how our brains actually work. I wanted to change that, which is when I decided to start Mind in Bloom.

I try to make it so people my age and myself can understand neuroscience better, without the jargon, without the paywalls, without feeling like you need a degree just to understand your own brain. But I’m also a very creative person. It’s something I’m deeply passionate about, and I enjoy helping people get the resources they need, especially when those resources can be creative, hands-on, and made with care.

Mind in Bloom is where those two parts of me meet: the curiosity that wants to understand the brain, and the creativity that wants to turn that understanding into something real you can hold. It’s youth-led because I am the youth. It’s handmade because touch makes knowledge real. And it’s rooted in science because I needed answers, and so does every girl like me.

OUR VALUES

Accessibility

Health knowledge shouldn’t have a paywall, a jargon wall, or a degree requirement. We translate, simplify, and hand it to you.

Education

We don’t dumb down — we decode. Every resource is grounded in peer-reviewed research, then reimagined for hands and hearts.

Creativity

Crafting isn’t the opposite of science. The same curiosity that drives a researcher drives a maker. We just use different tools.

Community Care

Every bracelet, every kit, every card is made by hands and given to hands. That’s the whole point.
